conmill, i.e. goes, ut est ‘the crime of the mighty ones injures - I will say no more - both children and posterity as far as the ninth descendant’.

Comment by Stokes: “con-mill 3d sg. pres. ind. act. of con-millim ‘I injure’”. Breatnach identifies the quatrain as deriving from Ríagal Mo Chutu = Rule of Fothud.
