Item description
Midir angrily confronts Eochaid concerning the hardships he has had to endure. Eochaid tries to appease him and accepts a third game of fidchell. The stake is raised to whatever it is that the winner desires. Midir wins this time round (saying he could have done so earlier if he wanted) and names his prize: ‘My arms around Étaín and a kiss from her’. Eochaid then tells him to claim his prize in a month’s time.
