It is found in the Leabhar Breac, where it is attributed to Moelmoedóc Ua Mongair but internally, in the final quatrain, to Moelmoedóc mac Diarmada, possibly referring to the abbot of Glen Uissen (Killeshin, Co. Laois) (ob. 917).
