§ 19. After some time, Midir pays Eochaid and his queen a visit. Eochaid suspects a renewal of their conflict, but Midir informs him that he is content: the queen whom Eochaid has chosen [§ 18] is not Étaín, but his own daughter by Étaín, who was with child when Midir carried her off. Meanwhile, Étaín is with Midir again.
