Acephalous. Fragment of the Míniugud-recension of Lebor gabála Érenn, containing part of the tract on pre-Christian kings of Ireland known as De fhlaithiusaib Érenn = CGH 117-122 ~ R. A. S. Macalister, Lebor gabála Érenn: The book of the taking of Ireland, vol. 5 (1942): 240–281 (§§ 525–561). One of the sectons is headed Gen. Cimbaeda (f. 74rb.9ff). Incl. verse: (a) beg. Cimbaeth no chinnedcech cain (6qq), anonymous (inde dicitur); (b) beg. Longer genealogical compilation dealing with the Airgíalla and other peoples of ‘Conn’s half’ (the north of Ireland). It opens with a short prose tale which has been edited from this manuscript by M. A. O'Brien as ‘The oldest account of the raid of the Collas’ and which is headed Senchas Airgíall in the Laud Misc. 610 copy of the text. This is followed, on f. 77v(142)b.31ff, by a section on descendants of the three Collas and other northern peoples, beg. Is e tra Leth Cuind .i. hui Neill in deiscirt ⁊ in tuaiscirt ⁊ na Connachta ⁊ na hAirgialla, highlighted by letters in ornamental script. It concludes with the Corco hÓchae and their Ulaid origins.
