Medb’s boasts

Medb gives the ancestry of her father, Eochu Feidlech, down to Óengus Turbech: Eochu Feidlech son of Finn son of Findomán son of Findén [gen. Findeoin] son of Findgoll son of Roth son of Rígén [gen. Rigéoin] son of Blathacht son of Beothecht son of Énna Aignech son of Óengus Turbech (gen. Turbig); and boasts that she was nobler, etc., than her five sisters: Derbriu, Ethne (Ethi), Éle, Mugain and Clothru.
Cf. the pedigrees for Eochaid Airem and Eochaid Feidlech in Tochmarc Étaíne and the expanded version of this tale in Egerton 1782.
