Cf. the somewhat different account at the beginning of Macgnímartha Find, where Muirne is granddaughter of the Laigin ancestor Núadu Necht. Ann Dooley • Harry Roe, Tales of the elders of Ireland (1999): 243 n. 183 observe that Núadu’s association with the Túatha Dé Danann is also attested in a later Fenian poem on Cnú Deróil, beg. Innis a Oisin echtaigh. For the placename Glaise Bulgáin, cf. Dinnshenchas of Glaise Bulga.
