St Brendan/Brénainn [of Clonfert] foretold that everyone who entered the earth (talmun) of the hill (cnoc) of the rowan-tree would attain heaven [st. 46]. In the nearby wood, the druid Diorrang foretold to Garad that his body would rest in the hollow/valley (glenn) by the hill (re taoph cnocáin) of the rowan-tree [st. 47].
