The story bears no title in the manuscript, but one of [[Medieval Irish tale lists |the Irish tale-lists]] includes the title Aithed Ruithcherne [or Suithcherne] re Cuana mac Cailchine (‘The elopement of Ruithchern/Suithchern with Cuanu mac Cailchine’).
