Item description
The youths invite Éogan to come and join them on their voyage to the Spanish court and to leave quietly (especially without informing his mother, who would otherwise attempt to detain him). Éogan agrees to leave the next morning, accompanied only by seven fosterbrothers (all royal sons) and his servant Mosad. The company sails from the port at Dún na mBárc, making a temporary stop at Indsi na Faircsina (‘Island of Viewing’), so-called because both Ireland and Spain can be seen from it.
