§ 7

Verse: who is the accomplished youth who came to Emain and killed 1,000 in a single night? Answer in interlinear gloss: Óengus mac in Dagda; the reason is the boast made by Conchobar mac Nessa that Cú Chulainn excelled all (for-ossna Cú Chulainn cach óen). Óengus killed 1,000 at the Cráebrúad, bonded Cú Chulainn, and put Conall, Celtchar and Conchobor to sleep (súan).
