AOA I (YBL version, § 7)

Conall Cernach rises up to defend the honour of Ulster. When he meets the boy and remarks that his play is pretty (álaind), the boy replies that it will be no less pretty against him.

The boy uses his sling (taball) to send a stone into the air. The resulting sound and thunder is such that it throws Conall on his back. Before he can rise again, the boy has already bound Conall’s hands/arms with the strap of his shield.

Conall calls for someone else to encounter the boy.
