[Pictish king-list] (section)Incipit: ‘Bruide Urmum regnauerunt .cl. annos ut diximus ⁊ ro bóe Albo cen ríg fria re h-uile’Explicit: ‘Mael Coluim mc Dondchatha iar sein’
Acephalous fragment of the Pictish king-list, more precisely a representative of the longer version of that list (Series longior, or SL), one which is cognate with the versions incorporated into two witnesses of Lebor Bretnach. The page begins with the final item of the so-called ‘thirty Brudes’ section and continues into the second column, where additional material characteristic of SL is found. This additional material continues the list, without break, with the kings of Scots until it reaches Máel Coluim mac Donnchada (d. 1093). There are interlinear Latin notes in an italic hand.
