Englynion y misoedd ‘The stanzas of the months’

  • Middle Welsh
  • Medieval Welsh poetry

Late medieval poem arranged in twelve stanzas about the months of the year. Contrary to what the title suggests, the verses are not englynion, but each usually consists of eight heptasyllabic lines.
