Manuscripts

Quire 22 (ff. 55-62) had been once been detached, possibly as early as 1571 (Huws 2000). It spent some time as part of Peniarth MS 12, to which it was stitched some time after the manuscript was already bound. It was still attached to that manuscript when Evans published his catalogue description. Finally, in the 1940s it was restored to the White Book.
