Anglo-Saxon frontispiece added in the second half of the tenth century, at the time when the manuscript was bound up with other parts. It shows a large figure of Christ and the modest miniature of a prostrate monk at the bottom of the page together with the inscription Dunstanum memet clemens rogo Christe tuere / Tenarias me non sinas sorbsisse procellas.
