Description

English: A fortnightly Welsh language literary and antiquarian periodical, which published articles on subjects such as Welsh history, Welsh traditions and agriculture, alongside poetry and foreign and domestic news. This was the first Welsh periodical to publish more than one issue. The periodical was edited by the Unitarian minister, Josiah Rees (1744-1804) and the Methodist cleric and author, Peter Williams (1723-1796).

Cymraeg: Cylchgrawn llenyddol a hynafiaethol pythefnosol, Cymraeg ei iaith, a oedd yn cyhoeddi erthyglau ar bynciau megis hanes Cymru, traddodiadau Cymraeg ac amaethyddiaeth, ynghyd a barddoniaeth a newyddion cartref a tramor. Hwn oedd y cylchgrawn Cymraeg cyntaf i gyhoeddi mwy nag un rhifyn Golygwyd y cylchgrawn gan y gweinidog Undodaidd, Josiah Rees (1744-1804) a'r clerigwr Methodistaidd ac awdur, Peter Williams (1723-1796).
