[EN] The British place-name Mona (now Anglesey, W. Môn) could well be an action noun based on the verbal stem *l men- «to project» — French camion could be related to the Gaulish noun which produced Fr. chemin, i. e. camm(a)n- «walking» — Old Irish dáttae «nice» is a derivative adj. from dáth «colour», cf. Lat. pulcher related to Skt. Ved. prsni-«variegated».
